The Binance app offers two interface modes: Lite mode and Pro mode, catering to different user needs. Register on Binance now to get started, and download the Binance app to freely switch between both modes.
Lite Mode
Lite mode is Binance's interface designed specifically for beginners, with features including:
Clean interface: Only the core functions are displayed, with complex trading screens removed. The home page is clean and intuitive, free from excessive data and charts, so beginners won't feel overwhelmed.
One-tap buy/sell: Offers quick buy and sell functionality that's as simple as online shopping. Just select the coin, enter the amount, confirm payment — three steps to complete a trade.
Basic market data: Displays prices and percentage changes for major coins without complex charts. You can quickly check the latest prices of popular coins like BTC and ETH.
Simplified asset management: The asset page only shows your holdings and total value, without the complex account categorization (spot, futures, margin, etc.), making everything clear at a glance.
Best for: Crypto beginners, users who only do simple buy/sell, those who don't need candlestick charts, and users focused on dollar-cost averaging or long-term holding.
Pro Mode
Pro mode provides the full suite of trading features:
Complete charts: Professional candlestick charts supporting multiple technical indicators (MA, EMA, MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, etc.) and drawing tools. Switch between different timeframes for detailed technical analysis.
Multiple order types: Limit orders, market orders, take-profit/stop-loss orders, OCO orders, trailing stop orders, and more. Rich order types enable precise execution of various trading strategies.
Depth chart: Real-time order book depth showing the distribution of buy and sell pressure, helping you gauge short-term price direction.
Futures trading: Full futures trading interface including perpetual and delivery contracts. Supports going long and short, leverage adjustment, TP/SL settings, and more.
Advanced features: Margin trading, grid trading, copy trading, Martingale strategies, and other automated trading tools for implementing more sophisticated strategies.
Multi-account management: Flexibly transfer funds between spot, futures, margin, and Earn accounts.
Best for: Users with trading experience, those who need technical analysis, professional traders, and anyone requiring advanced features.

Feature Comparison
In Lite mode, you can: quickly buy and sell crypto, check basic market data, deposit and withdraw, and participate in simple Earn products. Pro mode adds: a full spot trading interface, futures trading, margin trading, strategy trading, advanced chart analysis, and more.
Notably, both modes share the exact same account and assets. Coins purchased in Lite mode are fully visible and tradeable when you switch to Pro mode.
Recommendations
Beginner phase: Use Lite mode to reduce the learning curve and get familiar with basic operations. Don't switch to Pro mode right away — too much information and too many features can be confusing and may even lead to mistakes.
Intermediate phase: When you need to set TP/SL or read candlestick charts, switch to Pro mode. Typically, when you start wanting to buy or sell at specific prices, explore technical indicators, or try futures trading, it's time to switch.
Flexible switching: Switch based on context — for example, use Lite mode to casually check prices and Pro mode when actively trading. Many experienced users also switch back to Lite mode when they're not trading, enjoying the cleaner interface.
Regardless of which mode you choose, the most important thing is finding the interface that suits your current needs. As your experience grows, you'll naturally progress to more advanced features.
