Binance supports multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. If your interface is displaying in English, follow this guide to switch quickly. Don't have an account yet? Register on Binance now first, and download the Binance app to get the Chinese version.

Switching Language on the App

Method 1: From the home screen

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap the profile icon in the upper left
  3. Find the "Language" option
  4. Select "Simplified Chinese" (or your preferred language)
  5. Confirm the switch — the app refreshes automatically

Method 2: From Settings

  1. Open the app > tap the profile icon
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Find the "Language" option
  4. Select Simplified Chinese

If you've just installed the app but can't find the language option, try restarting the app. Some Android devices automatically adapt to the system language on first launch. If your phone's system language is already Chinese, the app may display in Chinese by default. iOS users encountering a language mismatch can check "Settings > General > Language & Region" to confirm Chinese is selected.

Switching Language on the Website

  1. Open the Binance website
  2. Find the globe icon (language switch button) in the top-right corner of the page
  3. Select "Simplified Chinese" from the dropdown menu
  4. The page immediately switches to Chinese

The web language setting is stored in browser cookies. If you clear your browser cache or switch browsers, you may need to reset the language. We recommend logging into your account before switching the language — this saves the preference to your account settings, so it displays Chinese automatically regardless of which device you log in from.

Selecting Chinese During Registration

The registration page typically has a language switch option in the upper right corner. We recommend switching to Chinese before registering so all prompts and instructions throughout the process are in Chinese, reducing the chance of errors. This is especially important during KYC verification, where a Chinese interface helps you accurately understand each step and avoid failures or incorrect submissions due to language barriers.

Some Content Still in English After Switching?

This is normal. Some coin names, trading terms, and announcements may remain in English as they are standard industry terminology. Common English terms include:

  • Spot
  • Futures
  • Margin
  • Withdraw
  • Deposit
  • Limit Order
  • Market Order
  • Stop-Loss
  • Take-Profit

Familiarizing yourself with these basic terms will help your trading. We recommend beginners spend some time learning common cryptocurrency English vocabulary, as it's useful for reading industry news and understanding trading interfaces.

Other Language Support

Binance supports dozens of languages including English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, and more, making it accessible to users worldwide. If you have friends abroad who want to use Binance, you can help them switch to their preferred language.

Troubleshooting

Page displays incorrectly after switching language: Try clearing the app cache and reopening, or uninstall and reinstall the latest version.

Can't find Chinese in the language options: Make sure your app is the latest version. Older versions may not support certain languages — updating usually resolves this.

Language keeps reverting to English: This typically happens when you're not logged in. Log into your account before changing the language setting — the system saves your preference server-side, preventing the need to reset it every time.

Customer service language: Even with the interface set to Chinese, you can communicate with online support in Chinese. Binance has a dedicated Chinese customer service team that generally responds quickly during business hours.
