When you encounter issues using Binance and need to contact customer service, this article covers all available support channels. If you don't have an account yet, first register on Binance, then download the Binance APP — contacting support is easier within the APP.
Live Chat (Recommended)
This is the fastest method:
Web: Go to the Binance website and click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner. Enter your question and an AI assistant will respond first. If the AI can't resolve it, type "human agent" to be connected to a real person.
APP: Open the Binance APP > tap the profile icon in the top-left corner > Help & Support > Contact Us.
Binance's live chat supports Chinese, is available 24/7, and typically has wait times of just a few minutes. During peak periods (such as during severe market volatility), wait times may be slightly longer but generally don't exceed 15 minutes.
Tips for efficient communication: Before contacting a human agent, prepare the following information — your account UID (visible in the APP's profile section), a detailed description of the problem, and relevant screenshots or transaction records. The more complete the information, the faster customer service can help. When describing the issue, be concise and clear — explain "when," "what you did," and "what went wrong," avoiding vague descriptions.
Ticket System
For complex issues, you can submit a ticket:
- Log into the Binance website
- Go to the "Help Center"
- Click "Submit a Ticket"
- Select the issue category and provide a detailed description
- Upload relevant screenshots (recommended — tickets with screenshots are processed faster)
Ticket processing usually takes 24-48 hours. If your issue is urgent (such as account theft or large deposit not arriving), we recommend also reaching out through live chat to expedite ticket processing.
After submitting a ticket, you'll receive a ticket number — note it down for future follow-ups. If you don't receive a response within 48 hours, contact live chat with the ticket number to follow up.
Help Center
Binance's Help Center is a treasure trove that many users overlook, containing detailed answers to numerous common questions. Before contacting customer service, we recommend searching the Help Center first — many questions have ready-made answers, which is faster than waiting for support.
The Help Center covers a wide range of topics: account registration and verification, deposit and withdrawal issues, trading feature guides, security settings, and more. Content is regularly updated, and virtually any issue you encounter will have a related article.
Social Media
Binance has official accounts on major social platforms:
- Twitter/X: @binance (English), @binancezh (Chinese)
- Telegram: Chinese community groups exist, but be careful to distinguish official from fake groups
- Weibo: Search "Binance"
Note: Never share personal account information on social media. Official social media is primarily for announcements and market updates — not for handling personal account issues. For account-related matters, use live chat or the ticket system.
Common Scam Warnings
Binance customer service will NEVER:
- Proactively contact you requesting a transfer
- Ask for your password or verification codes
- Provide service through private messages
- Ask you to download unknown software
- Tell you to transfer assets to a "safe account"
If you encounter any of the above, it is 100% a scam — ignore and report immediately. Scammers frequently impersonate Binance customer service on social platforms and Telegram groups, using profile pictures and usernames very similar to the official ones. Remember a simple rule: real Binance customer service only responds when you contact them first — they never reach out to you.
Best Contact Methods for Different Issues
- Urgent issues (account security, large asset problems): Live chat + submit a ticket simultaneously
- General questions (feature usage, operational inquiries): Search the Help Center first; contact live chat only if you can't find the answer
- Feedback and suggestions: Submit through the ticket system
Self-Service Solutions
Many common issues can be answered in the Binance Help Center. We recommend searching help articles first — it's often faster than waiting for customer service. Common self-service topics include: deposit arrival time inquiries, fee rate lookups, feature operation guides, and security setting instructions.
