Properly configuring Binance app notifications ensures you never miss important market moves or account activity. Register on Binance to get your account, then Download Binance APP and follow these steps.
Enable System Notification Permissions
First, make sure your phone allows Binance to send notifications:
Android: Settings > App Management > Binance > Notifications > Enable all. Some Android phones (especially Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, and other Chinese brands) disable notifications for newly installed apps by default — you'll need to turn them on manually.
iOS: Settings > Notifications > Binance > Allow Notifications, and enable banners, sounds, etc. Also enable "Lock Screen" and "Notification Center" display to ensure you see notifications regardless of your phone's state.

Order notifications: Notifications for filled, partially filled, and canceled orders. Keep these on to stay informed about every trade. This is especially useful for limit orders that may take a while to fill.
Security notifications: Login alerts, withdrawal confirmations, and other security-related notifications. Strongly recommended to keep enabled — they're a vital line of defense. When someone attempts to log in or initiate a withdrawal, you'll be notified immediately.
Event notifications: Binance promotions, airdrops, Launchpad events, etc. Enable based on personal interest. If you frequently participate in Binance events and new token launches, keeping this on ensures you don't miss out.
Market notifications: News alerts during major market movements. You'll receive push notifications when BTC or major tokens experience significant swings — valuable for staying on top of market dynamics.
Recommended Settings
Must enable:
- Security notifications (login, withdrawal) — your last line of defense for asset protection
- Order fill notifications — know the status of every trade
Should enable:
- Price alerts (for your watchlist tokens) — catch trading opportunities
- Large movement alerts — stay informed of major market shifts
Optional to disable:
- Marketing/promotional notifications (if they feel intrusive)
- Community messages
- Non-trading promotional content
Disabling unnecessary notifications prevents "notification fatigue." If you receive too many unimportant notifications daily, you may start habitually ignoring all of them — and miss a genuinely important security alert.
Advanced Notification Tips
Use price alerts for trade planning: After analyzing the market, set price alerts at key support and resistance levels. When price reaches these levels, the notification reminds you to execute your plan — no need to watch charts constantly.
Combine with Do Not Disturb mode: Most phones support scheduled Do Not Disturb, but you can set Binance as an exception to ensure security notifications always get through.
Not Receiving Notifications?
- Check if battery-saver mode is restricting background notifications
- Confirm the app hasn't been killed by the system's background process manager — some Chinese brand phones aggressively close background apps
- Some phones require adding Binance to the auto-start whitelist: Xiaomi: Settings > Apps > Autostart Management; Huawei: Settings > Battery > App launch management, set to manual
- Check that your network connection is working
- Verify in-app notification settings aren't disabled
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then re-granting notification permissions
